Actually that ring is a gift which is given by vidhi 9n his office..

Secondly still for him age doesn't matter...thing is thar he still consider vidhi like teenage girl who had just got her wings..he really understands the consequences of this relations.....he really want to keep vidhi for himself but not on the cost of her happiness like leaving,her family, friends, dreams and keep her on her toe to fulfill his responsibilities towards his family..

Meeting with pratap uncle at least give him confidence thar it is not wrong to fall in love with a younger person....

Dev is trying to be stubborn towards Vidhi , so that she should hate him. But fact is he is not able to do it. The more he tries to keep distance from her by telling this is an office , your parents can't arrive like these and keeping his eyes away from her it actually felt painful for Vidhi. But she is able to sense that Dev is hiding the real Dev and trying to do this which is failing miserably before her.Already his heart is surrendered before Vidhi and thing is she was able to say atleast in flow that she loves him. But Dev is not able to do even that also. The breath which he is holding, his heart beat is full of Vidhi. At his monologue he said bahut kuch hein...And when that bahut kuch will burst out it will be a visual treat to watch. His eyes have started turning here and there before Vidhi because he can't see the tears, pain at her eyes. He is so much concerned for her.

Bold: Aur bhi confusion, sorry, mere dimaag mein! Ek chaalis laakhvaali ring I remember well... It was honesty proof as return of given ring....... And that ring is still in Dev's finger as he takes it out to give to Amba.

Where did the box come from? and That ring looked different than his platinum band.

I have seen 2 red boxes which were brought by Arjun.

Now Purely my POV about Pratap Uncle meeting:

Dev kuchh samjha aise mujhe nahi lagata; par hum sab Eklavya banke seekh gaye!

That scene became absolutely powerful with dialogue delivery from Pratap Uncle(Prajapati Daksh/ Guru Aditya)

Mera TV repair ko gaya aur cricket match tha, tab mujhe TV ki bahot yaad aayee...... This cannot be defined as love.

Love is ...... uski aakhon mein nami dekhakar tumhara dil bhar aaye!

Bechari Vidhi phoot phoot ke ro rahi hai, uski aavaj mein bhi dard tha when she confessed her love. And what did this sahab do? passed on napkin and then busied himself with his wallet??????👎🏼

Not to argue with you or anybody else; but considering her a teenager doesn't fit. While Arjun praised her qualities, Dev joined in. Those qualities weren't of teenager.

Teenager ke baal havaa se ude to cheharese hataane ke liye, kissi mard ka haath nahi uthata.😆

So except for the teenage thing, I agree with rest of justification for Dev.
