Fun fact:

In 1971 and 1972 Meena Kumari essayed the role of an Aged woman in Mere Apne, a middle aged woman in Dushman and a story spanning a lifetime from an 18 year old in Pakeezah.

The 1975 movie Aandhi was banned in India on political grounds. The songs, however, have been ever so popular.
