I have just a normal skincare routine and I do follow both in the night and morning, Check below -

1. Cleanser - I use face wash to cleanse my face and remove dead skin cells and dust.

2. Toner - I use toner to give glow and nourishment to my skin

3. Moisturizer - I use face moisturizer to keep my skin hydrate.

4. SPF sunscreen - I use it rarely only in the morning.

Well, idk if it is genetics or what, but I have stopped using commercial shampoos and conditioners, and started using natural shampoos and shampoo bars. I order them online. They are a bit pricier but they last me so much longer. I have also changed my diet to less processed. Also, I take a multi vitamin and I oil my hair few times a month, and only oil my ends after washing it. I don't wear it so tight anymore either, in various hairstyles.

I have stopped dying my hair, and using heat also, which has been tough.

For my skin, I use moisturizers for my skin type; combination. I use retinol for night time, and I really think it has helped my skin a lot.

Skincare: Biologique Recherche Lait U Cleanser, Suhi & Sego customised toner, Dr Sheth’s Vitamin C serum & Biore sunscreen (morning) The Face Shop Light Bright Cleansing Oil, Biologique Recherche Placenta serum OR Suhi & Sego customised night serum followed by a pharma ceramide cream (night) also this routine changes once winter comes in. 😆

I also take bovine collagen powder every morning on an empty stomach. Idk what difference it’s making to my skin, but my nails grow at the speed of light now (and they’ve always grown very fast) and my hair-fall has reduced.

Hair care: Oil hair (Soulflower Bhringadi hair oil) 2-3 times a month & wash it off with Clairol/L’Oreal shampoo & conditioner.

Face

Alternate between Vitamin C based cleanser and Kojic acid based face soap. Then I use a retinol based serum followed by hyaluronic acid based moisturizer and a sunscreen with at least SPF30. I do this every day. Skip the sunscreen at night unless you work at night and are going to be working on the computer exposing yourself to the blue light of the screen.

Consistency is key.

Hair: Biotin based Shampoo and conditioner

Nail: nothing

I don’t know the brands off the top of my head. It honestly doesn’t matter to me. I care more about active ingredients.

I usually use forums to make my routine new.

Since I read interesting themes and regular content updates on sites, I stay in touch with novelties in the beauty industry and have only regularly corrected skin routine (:

Go slow on the actives b/c skin is varying levels of sensitive. If you add in Copper Peptide serum then take a break from Lactic aid/Vit C etc. it’s not good to cloud your skin with so much.

That said, it’s great! A relatively gentle anti-aging serum. I’ve used the Medik8 & The Ordinary ones & I quite loved them.
