I found out about this recently and now I know why the child me could never complete his work and detested his morbid vibe that I felt while reading The Hobbit (forced by literature reader at school) 😆

Well, for me it’s the opposite. I love LoTR - the Hobbit I couldn’t get into. And I love those movies. A Beatles LoTR movie seems like a missed opportunity. This just made me sad cos now JRRT just seems like a cranky old geezer. Sigh!
