Couple and show: (eg. Arnav and Khushi from Iss pyaar ko kya naam doon): Paramadatta and Punītavatī (Kāraikkāl Ammaiyār) from Periyapurāṇam

The plot in short (2/3 sentences): As soon as Paramadatta tasted the mango's impossibly sweet flavour, he knew that it was not an earthly mango, and he asked Punītavatī who had given it to her. Paramadatta was terrified to see his wife recreating the miracle of a mango fruit entering her hand as she prayed to Śiva, and imagining her to be a deity (aṇaṅku), he knew that he could no longer possess her sexually as her husband. Paramadatta mentally addresses his decision to Punītavatī, imagining their continuing sexual relationship to be as unnatural as a mortal eating divine mangoes on demand.
