If at all there is anything to celebrate about it is about the triumph of colonies over a colonial power.

It’s good but doesn’t really matter. He will go out of his way to prove he is secular Hindu and it still will never be enough.

There are tons of world leaders who are Hindus. And yet Hinduphobia is on rise. Left is strategically creating a false narrative of Hindu extremism. And no google or Twitter ceo is doing anything. I doubt Sunak is anything different.

And as for being Indian origin, He is British. That’s where his loyalties are. And it should be.

I just wish being Hindu leaders some at least did something to counter the blatant hate that’s being spread by Audrey tuschke types of LeLis.

I don't think anyone believes he thinks of himself as Indian. He's British.

But it still feels good to see an Indian origin PM of Great Britian because of history. Poetic justice and all that... not exactly but close enough.

Not the same as Indian Twitter going GA GA over Kamala Harris 😆.

The only good thing is when all other tory leaders are running away, he still stepped up to lead the sinking economy.

Although he has all the wealth. So next thing you want is fame and legacy. 😆

If he can save UK economy, that’d be remarkable feat.

He and his kids are British. I doubt he’ll do anything in favour of India simply because he’s of Indian origin.

Yeah I don't understand why are Indians feeling proud of him. His parents migrated to UK from East Africa. He is a British citizen. He will be faithful towards UK only. India ko kuch nahi milne wala iss bande se.

I'd love to see it 😆. Rub it in Brit faces. It took an Indian man to save their country.

It's not about feeling pride in fellow Indian. There are 1.4 billion of us. I sure don't feel proud of all Indians, let alone a British one. It's the pleasure of watching karma in action.

Even his parents are African born, he is uk born.. I guess he hasn't even visited India.

Also, he has connections with Ford Foundation and WEF. If you know about these groups you would be on other spectrum of feeling proud 😆

It's more to do with the fact that an Indian is now PM of a country, whose Empire ruled his ancestral land for almost 200 years.

I appreciate the British for accepting him as PM who is an offspring of immigrants who are from a community not only a religious minority but an ethnic minority too.

Will we ever see a situation like this coming up in our own country? Here we tell people who practice religion which did not originate in our land to leave the country and that too when the blood runs in their body is the same blood as the people from majority community.

Kohinoor was sold to the British by the then ruling class of India.

The same ruling class who sold the country to the British like it is their personal property.

British were cunning and manipulative for sure but our ruling class had an equal role in making us the common people of this land into slaves of British.

Rishi Sunak is a British citizen and he thinks of himself as Brit.It is no cause for celebration.

I will celebrate Rishi Sunak's ascent when the people from oppressed communities like Dalits and Tribals and religious minority communities like Christians and Muslims become CMs and PMs.
