Yes it makes sense. Car maintenance costs also are way less compared to gas-powered car. Especially for shorter commute, as is in Mumbai, electric cars save a ton in the long run.

It is a trap. And this might happen a few times until elections. Feds meet on Nov 1st. Three quarters interest rate hike expected.
