Yes, Soha will try to get a rise out of Ayesha. If only Ayesha was smarter and more manipulative (for her own good). At times you need these qualities to navigate your way through tricky situations because Soha will play dirty. It won’t be an outright war but it’ll be subtle and Ayesha is too straightforward for that kind of a battle. Whereas Basit is lonely and not smart enough to discern intentions, especially those of the female variety. I would have loved for Ayesha to give it back to Soha, act non-chalant and show Soha her true place but she’s none of that.

Anyway, I think you’re right when you say that the aftermath of all this would be Basit realising that he did the wrong thing by attending the wedding with Soha, gave Ayesha the wrong impression. We may even get to see a Basit crying scene, something from the ost and then perhaps Basit would be desperate to clear the air. This may bring him to Ayesha’s doorstep. He must’ve said something right to Ayesha to convince her to return back. I’m hoping at least it’s a meaningful conversation before Qudsia opens her big mouth.

So true about how Basit and Ayesha have different ways to deal with their hurt. While Basit externalises his pain, Ayesha internalises it. Which is why we were for so long unable to figure Ayesha out. Very astute observation indeed! It must be heartbreaking for Ayesha to hear Basit talk about her family with Soha of all people. It would have been different if it was Fahad, it would’ve stung less. Add to that Soha raising the topic of divorce and Basit looking confused yet somber must’ve been the final straw for Ayesha. Much like you I don’t think Basit would really want to divorce her, he doesn’t care two cents about Qudsia. I think he would be hurt and angry and we know how he reacts when he feels like that. Once he would have gotten out of that haze, he would’ve brought Ayesha back.

So, I have a slightly different idea about the almost accident. I don’t think Ayesha will deliberately come in front of a car in order to die. I think she would be in immense pain and therefore unaware of her actions. I also think the car that is about to hit her will be Basit’s. What do you think about that?

So we know whatever happens, Basit will be bringing Ayesha back. What then will be Soha’s role in the story? Would she continue to dance around Basit or will we see her exit the show in a short while?

Truly girl!!! And I really felt through last week especially how much I depended on these discussions for solace because even that horrid episode gave us so little to go on.

And so true about Ayesha lacking that kind of skills to face someone like Soha without showing the cracks in her own facade. But perhaps for Basit it is important to see that Ayesha is breaking, is in pain. Like he is trying to guess what Ayesha is feeling, and he keeps asking her in that phone call for instance, were you crying? He was asking her in ep 24, don't you think of me? But Ayesha never tells him of course that yes, she was crying. That she was missing him, thinking of him. In ep 24 phone call she accidentally reveals two things...that she was concerned about Basit and got info on his health from Karim and that she was scared of the possibility of their marriage ending. Basit got the answers he had been looking for. He wanted to know what Ayesha thought as he told Mansur uncle, so now he knows. But he needs to see more. He needs to see how hard it is on Ayesha, how much emotionally invested she is in this relationship and in him. So perhaps her weakness before Soha will actually help AyeT in the long run. But yes, I do want to see Soha being put in her place by Basit at some point. And to see Ayesha face Soha without breaking, without feeling insecure.

And I like your notion on the car scene better. It makes more sense that Ayesha would be walking without any clear direction or idea of where she was going. I am really looking forward to this scene! It could be Basit's car, I was trying to figure out if we could make out anything from that clip in the promo but you couldn't really see who was in the driving seat.

Once Ayesha returns, will things be fine between them? I think they will still have stuff unresolved. So Soha will be around for a while longer I feel though I do hope they won't drag it and make it into some kind of torture.

I don't think the misunderstanding happened because either of them had given up on their relationship at that point. But misunderstandings happen because of a lack of trust in your partner and in that I think both Ayesha and Basit have been guilty.

The actress playing Fahad's wife seems to be played by Anoushay Abbasi.

I thought she was looking familiar. She had been in Raqs e Bismil.

I might be wrong, we see just a flash of her in the promo and that too she isn't looking at the camera but has her head bowed down.

Wow Twerps! Your dedication to finding out finer details is commendable ☺️ I don’t know the actress, but this does look like the same person. Fahad didn’t seem too happy with his wedding though, at least when he was speaking to Ayesha on the phone to invite her for the wedding.

Just throwing darts in the dark. Will only know for sure once the show actually airs.

I think the post was referring to the escalation of misunderstandings. It is a fact that Ayesha doesn’t see her worth and believes herself to be inferior to Basit, which is what prevents her from voicing her grievances to Basit. This is why she’s given up on their relationship, because she believes that she has nothing that could attract Basit to her.

However, that is a wrong notion. She gives him the emotional stability and support that he’s lacked throughout his life. At this point I’m not talking about their physical relationship since we do not know the finer details of that but it is clear at least from the promo and even otherwise from that bedroom scene that Basit is attracted to Ayesha. He may have not verbalised his desire but that it is because Basit himself was coming to terms with what this relationship entails. Had the misunderstanding not happened, I am certain that things would have progressed well in the intimacy department.

Had this been an Indian drama I would have absolutely expected something like that to happen. But I doubt this will happen in Habs. Especially this being Fahad's wedding. I think it is time to give up on the idea of FaNo. After all it did have a 'No' in the very name of this ship.🤪

I absolutely agree with the fact that Basit’s insecurities in turn flamed Ayesha’s insecurities. We saw a glimpse of those insecurities when Ayesha called herself “mamooli si ladki” and wondered why was someone like Basit interested in marrying her. But then Basit in keeping his distance from Ayesha made her feel worthless in his life. However, throwing her out of the house the way he did was the final nail in the coffin. The fact that he was ready to divorce her so easily must have played on Ayesha’s mind a lot.

When Ayesha told Basit that he never listens to her, I was like girl, he does!! We have seen that whenever Ayesha tells Basit something, it plays on his mind and he even modifies some of his actions based on her opinion, especially when he was ready to talk to Sadia on the morning that she died. Another scene comes to my mind is just after the raised hand scene, when Basit walks into his home and quietly stands with Ayesha’s words playing on his mind. I think secretly Basit has always craved the emotional touch and softness in his life which Ayesha brings.

So true about their office scenes. They were intense 🥰 In fact, I often felt their chemistry even when there was nothing going on. Would love to see more office romance!
