But why will they speak in their native language on a podcast? They are catering to an audience and want max reach.

I think Deepika must be speaking to her parents in her native language. I think most Bong actresses do as well.

So when I met Amitabh Bachchan, my mum actually asked him this question.. and he said they speak to Aaradhya mostly in Hindi and some English. Some Ash's native language and Punjabi too. I think these lot mostly speak Hindi-English at home.. which is kind of sad.
