About today’s episode (Oct 15)

For the first time, Vidhi spoke up in front of her community that she will not tolerate anyone disrespecting her father. That was well done. This is an important step as Vidhi will have to speak up and defend herself where needed in upcoming episodes. Loved that scene! Whenever HP’s family got insulted in the past, it was Dev who defended them but today, it’s their own daughter who is speaking up --- that’s the way it should always have been.

Dev, as usual, is protective of Vidhi and her family. He said it himself that I will do anything to find any details on the guy Vidhi will marry. That showed care and respect. I don’t know about others but I don’t think he is in love yet. He just finds Vidhi very sweet and caring in nature and loves spending time with her. I am glad it’s showing that way as I would expect any 40+ to do the same before entering into a relationship.

One thing I am missing is the attraction part. Is it me or anyone feels that way? I understand that they care, respect, and somehow protective of one another, but attraction is also needed. I’d like to see some of that from both sides (Dev and Vidhi) because that’s equally important.

for attraction i had same thoughts as you in past but from last few episodes seeing Dev recalling auto wala scene in his imagination that too so vividly, with so much impact, eye lock, hawa me baal udna, her stare, his eye blink... i am so sure it was written in script, shot for epispde but wasnt included in final edited versiob... for whatever reason...

and before than he had seen her in that saree and there too he was lost for few seconds and if not for his phone ring we are sure he would have fumbled in his dorkyness..

so that physical attraction was kept away from us deliberately and now after seeing those memories of Dev i am so sure those 2 encounters had hom attracted towards her early enough.. just that we dint get to see him thinking or talking abt it with himself so we dint know when it impacted him

True true. Kuch kuch toh hua thha Dev Babu ko proximity se.

Haan woh Saree wala scene bhi thha na! Toh thoda bahut attraction hai already. But given Dev's charecter, physical attraction utna important nahi hai jitna ki emotional attraction, jo ki bhar bhar ke hai usse day 1 se - "kya ho tum Ms. Vidhi", "kuch toh alag hai tum mein". Because emotionally bahut restrained raha hai Dev almost all his life.

Aare TPR mein first scene hi auto ride ka hai aur nazrein pehli baar milte hi ek awkward eyelock thha. Toh yahan toh hona hi chahiye planned woh scene uss hisab se. Maine kal 105 episodes (proposal scene tak) uda ke dekh liye raat bhar mein TPR ke. Pagla gayi hun main. 😂

Waise daad deni hogi hum pagli filams ki. Choppy editing se bhi meaning nikaal rahe hain hum log.

1) it's not an official adaption, kahi yeh likha nh hai as of now it seems very loosely based on that story

2) tpr and all its official adaptations happened on zee channels. As far as I know you can't really show adaptations on other channels. Like anupama ka jo bengali version tha woh star bangla mein aya tha.

Hopefully I am right also I have heard that this story is loosely based on godhuli alap on star bangla, personally it is very very different. Only thing that is similar is that they have age gap baki leads get married by circumstances almost like barrister babu expect the girl is an adult

Simply because of the age difference, it would be difficult to show this on ITV

My guess is that, at least initially, most of the lovey-dovey stuff will probably come from Vidhi. If it's initiated by Dev, he could get branded as a tharki by the audience. There is a reason they're showing Vidhi as the one who falls first and is pursuing him.

From Dev's side, there'll probably be glimpses, but he'll be a very restrained character IMO on this front. Could probably change a bit after marriage.

@bold and you gave me the reason why that auto wala impact was mising in the episode.. it was 16th epispde and if shown Dev having eye lock with the girl so young audience could have resisted the show hance makers kept all this excluded and now when they are seeing people appreciating n loving the plot they are showing the cards now...

so be ready for some more flash backs (of the scene jo shayad dikhaye hi na jo kabhi 🤣)

@red wahi baat hai.. he is so much invested in her emotionally ke physically wo aas paas bhu hoti hai he becomes all together a different person.. confidence kaha jata hai pata nahi...

and as @aekiel mentioned it might be to test the audience's reaction abt such huge age gap difference story before showing any signs from Dev.. when it felt okay to ab nikal rahe hai purane scenes ko.
