I still see Abhi the way he was and don't think his character is being destroyed. He is acting the way I think he would behave due to what he sees in front of him not knowing how Mahima and Parth took advantage of his current state to rile on Goenkas and Akshu. His family has never truly been there for him and when they try he always chooses to be alone instead. So having no one verbally tell Akshu he was wandering lost for an year was to be expected to an extent. I was hoping eventually someone like Neil would let slip or when Manjari awoke she would reprimand Akshu but also recognize her sacrifice. Instead none of that happened. We got one line from Shefali saying what Akshu could do no one could but leaving all of us in the dark where we didn't know where she was wasn't right either. But only a self monologue with no one hearing.

Goenkas only focus on Akshu’s good intentions and what it ment to sacrifice her voice for one year not realizing the pain Abhi may have been going through alone. But that also shows they only saw Abhi as the crazy lover and were upset with him when it seemed like he just gave up and never tried to search for his wife. Where was their son-in-law who promised to look after their daughter? Abhi returned to his old coping mechanism of disengagement and anger.

You had pointed out that its like Abhi and Akshu switched places from pre confession marriage times. Birlas are the useless family using Abhi like how Goenkas use to ignore Akshu and could not see Arohi’s manpulations. After Abhi called the Goenkas out and pointed out Arohi's toxic behavior towards Akshu now Goenkas are supporting and seeing Akshu’s pain and fights.

I can totally see it now. Abhi is doing his family jaap like Akshu had done. Akshu is more confident and is defending herself and calling out things. She still carries her love while Abhi is stuck in his distrust phase allowing the toxicity of his Aunt and the death of his cousin to rule over his emotions and trigger his insecurities over and over again.

Do you think it would be too much to ask from the Creatives for a parallel after Akshu finds out some things and Kairav’s truth comes out that Akshu calls out the Birla family behavior towards Abhi? Abhi has been used by Anand and Mahima for Birla Hospital and I am sure they also blame Abhi that he couldn't get his medical license back. Abhi is just there for the family to solve their problems.

It is wishful thinking sadly, right? 😮‍💨😠😭
