Loved this movie ... Highly recommended ..
Just watched it. I’m still reeling. Should have come with 10 different trigger warnings. Had to stop it a few times to recollect my mind and then play it again. What a powerful film of self forgiveness and empowerment.
SPOILER
I am glad she dumped the fiancé. His reaction to the article publishing was pathetic.

Glad you liked it❤️
Yep, watched it. This was well done. I really liked the storytelling. In the beginning you think Ani is a stuck up snooty scamster but as the movie progresses, the details and her trauma helps you understand why she's the way she is. Rather than just dumping all the trigger points at once, this was done well in phases. Goes to show how suppressed trauma breaks a person.
Mila was brilliant. The girl who portrayed younger Mila did really well.

Agreed. The mother was a piece of work as well. She is the reason that younger Ani backtracks from reporting. I wish they had shown something with Ani lashing out at her mom for what she had done.

Yes, I did wish they had given a fitting ending to her relationship with her mother, as well. But I guess it is not as easy to end toxic relationships when blood is involved.
Watched it ! My god still haunted by the gang rape scene. So vile ! 😵
I did not watch it but the reviews are lukewarm. the movie is being criticized for being unnecessarily cruel.
