Yes..it is emotional cheating. He keeps trying to move on with Pakhi....doing things for her....then uses her to make Sai jealous. His attempts at moving on will encourage Pakhi to develop expectations and emotionally invest in the relationship.

But in absolute terms... yes it would be...

He has always emotionally cheated his wives, be it Sai or now Patralekha...then Sai was wife, he had support and eyes for Patralekha...for some reason, i remembered the college fest hug scene of SaiRat, one of those initial hug scene, he sees Pakhi and leaves Sai...same thing he is doing now, he actually can't leave either of the two...he wanted Pakhi for the longest time, but couldn't because of Sam Sai, then did, but won't still be happy...

Nope, Sai wouldn't let him cross that line, however hard he tried...she lived that for years, wouldn't want that to happen to another woman, whose child she was going to treat, be it Pakhi or anyone else...she sees her daughter longing for her dad. she would not want Vinu to face the same.
