Sai should not have been the one through whom Vinu finds the truth for these reasons
1. Sai generally keeps things to herself. She is very observant, meticulous and aware of her surroundings. So its uncharacteristic that she is responsible for saying something sensitive like this out loud without realizing that Vinu was listening. She has guarded the secret of who Savi's father is for all this time so she knows how to keep a secret very well. the problem is not her chatting with UM because she needs someone to offload to- but this issue is something that seems kinda random to chat about. Why would she tell her now instead of at the time she learnt it? the problem is not showing her share a secret with UM but showing her as being too occupied that she didnt notice Vinu overhearing. Sai is not like that. She is smart, very perceptive, almost always smells things before they happen. In the recent episode- she has already seen waiter-BK looking at each other and will probably know that the spiked drink was a plan. So her eyes/ears are open.
2. I dont want Sai to feel any "guilt" even if this whole thing has happened unintentionally. Sai already feels guilt of Savi being father-less and Vinu dying despite her surviving the bus accident because none of these things have happened die to any deliberate thing Sai has done. Sai has done the right thing for herself and for her children in every situation but she has paid the price of pain, betrayal, loneliness, blame and also the "guilt" which she has even though she acknowledges that she had valid reason to do what she did.
3. I dont want Sai to be the one vouching for V and P's "goodness" and "love" to Vinu. The onus of that should fall on them. Sai can help since she has such a hold on Vinu so that he will listen to them and not put himself in danger in his impulsiveness but I do not want to see her having to go overboard saying untrue things about V and P as his "parents"
4. After getting directly involved in this - that she told Vinu he was adopted and he acted impulsively and she had to console him- it will make it an even bigger blow than what it already will be- for her to realize he is HER vinu. She is going to find herself stuck with being unable to stake a claim on her own child. That punishment she did not deserve. She will already be conflicted about what to do when she knows Vinu is hers. But after all this she will feel more guilty to reveal the truth and claim him as HER son.
5. It makes Savi situation even more complicated. When Savi truth comes she will anyway be bashed. now she will get added brickbats from CN and V that she disclosed it only because she knows that Vinu is adopted and Savi is "biological" offspring and she failed at her initial plan to separate Vinu so she is using a new trick. plus she will be blamed for ruining Savi-Vinu bond since they are likely as kids to feel negatively if they realize they have the same dad but not the same mothers and the blame for this should not go on Sai.
A lot of heartache remains in store for Sai so the added self imposed "guilt" of her somehow being responsible for Vinu adoption reveal is absolutely unnecessary.
This cannot be only to tie her into their lives. As Vinu's doctor, working in the orphanage clinic Savi's ziddiness and insistence to be with Vinu and with harinee stuff- she is anyway tied to them in several ways. so we didnt need more.
Sai is already dealing with the betrayal of V and P and the heartache of seeing these 2 jerks "happily moved on" and flaunting their intimacy in front of her while she is all alone and without any support. Even UM is constantly spewing nonsense. It must make her question what has she done wrong that she is punished and without a family. so this extra blame and guilt is really not fair.
bahut hua.
