Just guessing- I'm not sure Dev will tell his family the entire truth about where he's staying overnight, but with the Amba thing, it might come out? The last time where both Amba and Vidhi were involved (the Khau Galli episode), something similar happened.

Or he is clear to his family where he is staying, but leaves first thing in the morning citing Amba, and poor Vidhi gets J after dreaming of giving him a cuppa! 😛

I think the guy doesn't like bhindi masala and Dev deliberately told Vidhi to make it to test the guy🤔 I am so glad atleast Dev feels suspicious about him. In precap he seemed to send Arjun back to London to enquire about this guy.
