With her beauty and dance skills, don’t think she would have got more than 1-2 movie post her side chick debut. She won’t get a movie like student of year as well for debut.

Yup imagine Alia in Ram Leela ???

If Alia was not from insider or had backing of KJo, she would have not given any lead roles and would have been given sidekick roles. As BW is more about looks then acting.

In SOTY she and Sidharth were the weakest actors. To bad Sidharth did not get roles that would hide his weakness and bring out his strengths like Alia.

DP is another overrated actress, to me she and Alia are in the same league when comes to acting.

Both are limited to some extent. While Alia can’t do period films or a Cocktail. Deepika couldn’t do a Ganghubai. I would rank them both as decent actresses that occasionally shine. Alia might have the slight edge when it comes to acting talent. But Deepika is very beautiful and has olden day grace.

with make up and perhaps a bit of work here and there Alia looks really pretty(like in brahmastra),and considering her emoting skills I wouldn't mind seeing her in something like that.If only there were surgical procedures to improve certain actresses' dialogue delivery.

alia is definitely superior,people here undermine her great performances and exaggerate her bad ones.Example can be the detailed discussions on her performance in brahmastra and limited talk about her acting in gangubai,what a nuanced,mature act that was.As if DP could ever.
