Interestingly, when Runa Ashisj first reported about this song with the correct name, it was reported as a PD Solo. But it turns out to be a duet. And PD has shared stories but not posted about it.

Lag Ja Gale Se performed by Arunita in Bangalore on 25 Sep 2022. I recorded only the first half, but it wqs during the second half that she was interacting with the audience.

Nevertheless, it is exhilarating to hear her sing this song. Such a sweet voice, so pitch perfect at every note!

PD’s own composition for Premgeet 3 and also for octopus was much better than these Himesh songs!

I wonder if someone else does the composition and is released under HR label on YouTube. His movie songs are so much better. PD sounds like he is trying to imitate HR!
Maybe I am passing judgment too early and should wait for video version 😬

Completely agree with you. This sounds too much like previous HR songs in this set, and like the rest of them, far behind some of his stellar work. The arrangement is quite lazy, actually. PD and Ashish have done a significantly better job in their songs released so far.

Both PD and Arunita have sung very well but that does not prevent this song from remaining a 6 or 7 out of 10 because the overall package is like that.

HR makes PD sing really high notes and then further does something in post production to make the voice sound like his own (HR's) but we have seen with other composers that PD's natural voice is much better.
