Gauri Khan is a nobody without SRK. She wouldn’t have her little designer gig if he wasn’t funding it.

I have respect for “actual” female entrepreneurs with real journeys, not some bratty rich housewives that got bored and husband gave some money to open cute little store, whatever.

I agree. Particularly, I feel these other wives treat Gauri like a queen, only because of SRK. From what I saw in the show, every word that Gauri speaks is worshipped. It's so fake and obvious. To think that most of her clients could probably be choosing her to connect with SRK, makes me really doubt her credibility. Because it does come across like that in the show at least. Even the photographer in one of her shoots, I was like come on. She is not saying or doing anything so special that she needs to be praised like that. She should thank her stars SRK married her when he did, I really doubt she would have any chance, if he had become a star before that. Not only does she not look that good, she has a really bland and wannabe personality who needs to feed into her vanity by being around yes-men like these women.

Karan is such a phattu he subjected the other wives to all the torturous questions about sax sux infidelity but asked a kid to script Gauri’s Qs. Then also had the audacity to gift her the hamper even tho clearly Maheep won it. I know you’re talking about flobw but I had to vent about this injustice somewhere. 😆

Gauri is delusional if she thinks her business is thriving because of her. It is only because of SRK and that is sad because when she was a home maker she was extremely confident. Her aesthetic and designs are way too ott and though in reality she might have done very marginally she is in no way an entrepreneur.

Yes she and SRK met when he was a nobody and she was there for him.

But SRK also benefitted from it. The image from a star to a superstar and mass following happened because audiences connected with that family man image. She is entitled to half his earnings and above because she is his wife and mother of his kids. Taking care of a family is not easy and kudos to her.

However many woman do it around the world. Yes she is SRK wife and accepting that privilege is important. Plus nobody forced her to become a designer, she was always respected in the industry before she was a designer for being strong and both she and SRK being a very sorted couple. It was her choice she maybe great in handling the business of production houses we don't know. But if she feels she will be known as a great designer she is completely deluded.

I have always liked her confidence from the beginning but the designing part is completely delusional or she knows it but she wants to be successful so puts on an act
