Please don’t beat me haa. But I really want to know why is IPK wala serial is so popular. I come across a few videos on Twitter also And now in this thread also. I haven’t seen the show.

I actually loved that scene when arnav finds out khushi is engaged .. much before his realisation in love very good .. he starts chopping flowers ..

It was very funny n cute .. actually a very clever and good adaptation of pride n prejudice .. set in Indian settings.. ipk was one of the better serials of Hindi television

My cousin sister loves it like anything, she had this huge poster of Arnav in her room before she got married 😆

I have seen it in bits and pieces, it is a romantic show, FL is annoying with her non-stop bak bak and ML has an amazing character arc

They redeemed him quite nicely, he was toxic in the beginning but he was a sweetheart later on

Why people like it?

1 Nostalgia

2 Leads are extremely good looking and their chemistry is fire

Oh....I didn't throw it was an adaptation of Pride and Prejudice

It is if you watch it .. you will see the similarities . They don’t acknowledge it but the premise is very very similar Hero attached to his sister .. sister being cheated by a man That man also attached to the herione..Heroine n elder sister living with aunt .. Elder sister falling for hero ka friend ..

My fav is one totally filmi scene from Madhubala..the first time RK meets Madhubala...

I know right. Performed well by barun.

He happily takes her and starts putting the ring on her finger but gets shocked when she says that it's her engagement ring. The whole scene is extremely beautiful.
