@Elizabeth's funeral: A lot of what they did was not required and they could have trimmed costs.

But then they would have invited criticism there too. I wonder if a section of taxpayers exist who would have been angry if she was not given a farewell befitting of her 70 years of "service" as the monarch.

The cameras panned on a lot of people crying when her body was being driven out.
