I definitely cringed and commented on it when the preview first aired. But after watching the show, his immediate answer when KJo asked him was he wants to work with both. But KJo pressed him to pick one and that’s when he stupidly said he’s “been told” he looks younger than them. It was a stupid response regardless and he shouldn’t have given in to KJo’s pressings.

Varun is in a weird position. He is not big enough of a star for Katrina or Deepika to play second fiddle to him, and he is too big a star for him to play second fiddle to them.
