New leads ka OST is BAIRI PIYA😆.....and whatever they played today sounds miles better than Jaaniyaa atleast.

Rest is a mixed bag.....Imlie2 ka character is a weird mix....lol they are trying to have it both ways by trying to make her a hold on to the village background by randomly being raised in the village for 10 years before she returns to the city to live with the Rs....and she's put into a Hindi medium school after her return cuz apparently she failed in the convent school.....lol basically they want to keep her looking like original Imlie even though she doesn't speak in the village lingo😆.....she speaks pure Hindi and struggles with some English words.

Cheeni is sly and likes to snatch things from Imlie but still acts sugary with her on the surface😆

ML didn't have any dialogues today....just a grand entry on Badtameez Dil and one dupatta moment with Imlie😆

Rs mein looks like Narmada Aunty continues to be a loser and blames Imlie for Arylie ki death....lol so random. Baaki Sundar-Arpita and Rupi have stuck around to play aunts/uncles to grown kids😆

From whatever knowledge I have had of the immortal era- there was no mention of T's and Rupi is now with Rathores- mutlab jo bhi new creatives hain, nasha abhi bhi wohi hai!

Now I wonder if the star and the most eternal potli might just be retained too!

So I have a hunch that Gul is just going with this to retain that time slot. She more than likely is planning something bigger..and buying time with this half baked story of Imlie 2.0!

Episode begins with st ki voiceover introducing her choti.😭😭 She sez bin amma baba ki humri choti sheher me saas nahi le path rahi. She sez meethi has brought choti over to pd. A 10 yr old choti is shown running and falling down. Voiceover announces 10 baras baad humri gudiya gao chodi rahi aage ki padhayi ke khatir par apan amma ko nahi. Jeevan me kouno se peeche na reh jaaye yehi khatir wo lautkar seher jaawath hai apan amma baba ke ghar😒

Choti is shown arriving in the rathore house with st ki voiceover saying apan gao ki jhopdi kii chath neeche hoth hai tho aankhen bhi neeche rakhe ki aadath pad jaath hai Humri gudiya yahan mehel me kho naa jaaye eeka yahan apan jagah banaayeke padi. Sunpita are shown receiving and taking her in. Babua ki amma is shown doing aarthi staring at choti and walking away after looking at her😒.

Voice over sez gao me dhoop bhi sabh ki hoth hai aur chao bhi par yahan humri gudiya ko dhoop me chao dhoonde ki padi😭. Choti imlie is shown in a convent school with cheeni didi who watches kids bully her.

Princi maam is telling rathore maathaji that imlu convent school me nahi pad sakthi hai aap ise hindi medium achool me bharthi karwa dijiye.

Rathore amma is looking angrily at her. Imlie is shown playing and 7 years later voice over announces aaj humri bitiya badi hui gai hai attarah baras ki choti abh choti imlie nahi bas imlie hai wo sabh kuccho paa sakath sabh kuccho achieviya sakath hai par kuccho bhi apan swabhimaan ko daav par rakh kar naa paaye kahe ki khud ko haarkar kauno jeeth nahi sakath abh toka jeethe ke hai tu imlie hai jao karm geetha se kari hai aur sanskaar se somethinv paayi hai. Tempo grinds to a halt and choti imlie is shown emerging from under veggie bags wearing clothes akin to og imaliya. Tempo waala asks if she is okay she sez nahi bhaiyya hum teek hai aap teek hai naa aap ko tho chot nahi lagi. Asks tempo dude gaadi kyu roki. Tempo dude sez aage jam laga huwa hai. She gets down to see whats up.

Naye heroji atharva the rockstar is shown on something hanging out of mid air jumping into a stage with badtameez dil playing in the middle of the freaking street🤣. Choti imlie is in the crowd yelling band karo please cuz there is a jam on the street 🤣. Dude is doing some dancing so nayi imlie goes to police waale bhaiyya asking to clear the jam. Threatens to call commissioner saab if they dont do their job.

Police waale are dragging out naye kamedy waale heroji🤣 when magically imlies dupatta covers the dudes face. He gets pheels and turns around to see who the dudette is while police drag him away. Imlie gets down from veggie track and goes into some pandaal. A random panditji is seeing her walk in and asks kahan gusi jaa rahi ho

Imlie introduces herself and sez naam lekar pukaro baath kijiye naa panditji warna hame patha kaise chalega ki aap humse baath kar rahe hai. Panditji sez tumhara naam kya aasman par likha hai ki sabko patha hoga. Imlie responds humara naam aasmaan se nahi mitti se juda hai upar nahi dekhiye neeche dekhiye imlie dikh jaayegi.

Panditji drags imlie out of mandir throws her out snd sez yeh tumhari asli jagah hai inke saath pointing at some poor kids. Sez mandir ka udhghaatan hai samjhi and asks her to leave since trustees are coming. Imlie asks him how he will recognize trustees since he does nt recognize imlie. Imlie tells the street kids to do something.

Trustee log shown arrivinv in cars. Street kids get outof car along with imlie. Pandit is shocked. Arpi is shown getting out. Imlie sends all street kids into mandir and walks up smiling at pandit. Imlie teases the pandit for not recognizing the trustees. Arpi lovingly introduces choti imlie as her bhatiji imlie and sez she is the mandir ki trustee. Pandit shocked as imlie walks in with kids and asks if she is the mandir ki malkin. Choti sez mandir ki malkin is seetha maiyya hum aur aap tho sirf sevak hai. Sez sm loves all her children the sam way regardless of whether they are poor or rich.

She advises the street kids to brinv only shraddha to mandir. So there is a throwback to og imlie ki chaandi ki thali waali scene. Pandit is ashamed and sez iss chandi ki thali ko rehne do aand that all devotees from today will have ek hi jaisi thaali. Arpi tells imlie to start praan prathishta. Imlie asks arpi how praan prathishta will happen without cheeni.

Cheeni ki back is shown where she is talking to someone. And o teri surprise of surprise rupi didi is back as cheeni ki bua👏 asking if cheeni is not ready yet. Cheeni sez she is different and turns around wearing imlie ki kurthi. Rupi is angrily asking cheens why she wore imlie ki dress. Cheens asks rupi bua to chill a nd sez imlie kuch nahi kahegi. Rupi sez cheens is taking undue advantage of bichari imlie and cheens starts insulting choti imlie talking about how downmarket she is. Usko bilkul apni birth mummy malini ki copy bana di.🤢. Cheens is shown telling rupi bua she will be bichari to everyone cuz she is asr and imli ki beti. Rupi bua is shocked to hear it.

Cheens sez harr baar mujhe hi apne aap ko prove karna padtha hai jab saari life saath rehke nuksaan hi huwa hai tho faayda bhi utaake dekh lene dijiye. So cheens and choti imlie are the new malini imli🤢. Cheens sez wo iss ghar ki owner hai use sabh kuch milega aur agar mai koshish nahi karoongi naa mujhe bhi apni mom ki tarah sabh kuch cheen na padega. Rupi bua is shocked.

Rupi bua sez baath sirf kurthi ki nahi baath dono behno ki aadath ki hai aaj cheez chuti kal badi bhi hogi tho bhi cheeni lene me hichkichayegi naa aur imlie dene me kyuki wo imlie ki beti hai aur cheeni malini ki. Sez bhagwaan please mere darr ko galath saabith karo and dont let history repeat itself 🤢.

Cheens is shown arriving imlie sez cheeni is khaas. Sundar and rupi get out of car with cheens. Imlie advises kidss to fold hands and concentrate. Cheens corrects imlie saying concentrate. Cheens keeps correcting imlie ki angrezi. Imlie sez cheeni di aap hamesha hame sahi raastha dikhayiye and hugs her. Sundar tells rupi chipkali inn dono ki nazar uthaar thi if she had been alive.

Cheens asks imlu if she feels bad that she is wearing her clothes and taunts rupi. Imlie sez mere clothes aap pe hi jhajthe hai. Cheens sez i will keep kurthi. Imlie is happy to see bandhar phupa and rupi mausi. Sundar gives her a gift.Asks arpi where daadi is. Maathaji yells kitni baar kehna padega am not your dadi. Arpi bajaooes maathaji for wearing black on imlies birthday. Maathaji sez she wont celebrate choti imlies budday cuz arylie died because of her. Arpi asks maathaji how lonv she will hold a grudge.

Precap me imlie and cheens arrive at a concert with imlie asking yeh kaunsa line hai. She is shocked to see rockstar dude dancing🤔

LOL no one is under any illusion that Gul expects this new season to last another year with 3+ TRPs or something😆

It is obvious that she is setting it up for a short term stint only while channel waale figure out what they want to do with the slot aage....they don't have any good replacement options yet and TRPs are not low enough to pull it off air yet, that is why this continues and itna hi effort daalti hai Gul in leaps usually.

Some cast members are always retained to carry on the connection of the story and familiarity of old cast for the audience....but Rupi randomly popping back here after 4-5 months of not even being seen or mentioned in the story speaks more to Preet's joblessness than any use in the storyline 😆. Rupi toh Arylie forced wedding ke time se hi honorary R bani hui hai toh aage bhi wohi rahegi I guess.

Koi new creatives nahin hai....the basic writers/dialogue writers are same. Bas Ved Raj saab ka naam is out from the story credits now😆. And a new direction team is in place....and instead of crediting Leena G, they are now generally crediting Star Jalsha for the concept😆....so it might be a khichdi of a bunch of Bengali shows for this season 😆

Ok not gonna comment on chemistry yet but both seem to have some good screen presence as their individual characters...and I think I am liking the OST...is it really an original, like Piya tose?

Yes this is a brand new tadakta bhadakta OST from Gul and she seems to have put more effort into this one than Jaaniyas ka OST😆

Nothing can come close to Piya Tose within this soundtrack ofcourse but yeah this is a vast improvement from Jaaniyas ka bakwaas OST and the lyrics seem to have some promise too with lines about Jogiya something something too.

I was ready to sit through an Imlie epi after SO long and they had to show me Rupi being a loser again🤢😆

So I'm gonna have to go back to waiting for WU and sticking to leads ke scenes seperately at this rate.

Not impressed with the girl playing cheeni and with her characterization. Ek hi jhatke malini poisoned her mind while dying and voila she is as poisonous as her biological mom. And what is rupi doing standalone in imlies house or the rathore home??? Party badal li ya phir visit kar rahi hai. Maybe we will get the tripathi back story later.

So far megha appears decent performance wise. Aage dekhna padega.
