Arey don't worry.....Karan and Megha won't get hate here (atleast initially😆).....yahaan log puraane grudges nikaalne mein zyada busy rehte hain😆. But here's hoping Karan-Megha get enough of a storyline that people stop drawing parallels to season 1 characters in everything they do🤪😆. That's where the toxicity usually starts....lol

I'd stopped watching the show since a while now but I'm willing to give it a chance again since season 2 is starting with fresh faces and a new cast :)

Hopefully we'll get to see awesome VMs from you again! 🤗

Ahh, that's good to know then coz twitter has already started hating them 😆 even the fans of the og pair from KCL just appeared out of nowhere and are not happy with MeRan getting casted together again😆

So far here we are just waiting to get some more info on the new season so it's a bit of a wait and watch mode for now.

As for comparisons, well as long as the actors manage to give a distinct identity to their characters with their acting, they should be able to build their own space. The problem starts when storyline is non-existent and actors can't even show their own distinct style beyond rinse/repeating typical Gul-isms😆

I feel , a big drawback regarding S1 was they never explored any character apart from the lead pair .

And use the side characters for just fill the Quoram and with token dialogue

Only Aparna have some how developed

In 50 episodes they try to establish a relationship between imlie & other characters but after a point when actually this relations have to focus they simply neglected it .

This is a common problem with ITV shows in general. They usually lose their way after a while in terms of developing supporting characters and just reduce them to standing around like khambas for shipping or for berating the FL for something.

We are still lucky that they did manage to give some decent development and storylines around the Ts for about 150 epis. Most shows don't even get that much. The Ts had so much natural chemistry and camaraderie as a cast that they managed to sambhaalo a lot even when they were being given token lines after a point.

Saw the new promo on TV & seen buzz around it. I didn't want to join this forum as it was quite toxic & too much wild imaginations occurring after the 1st ML departed the show as he was actually quite good, alongside power-packed chemistry and ambiance. Hopefully, there are meaningful discussions & actual critiques/discussions as opposed to attempting to find chemistry from weird angles as seen from SM for Imlie and the last ML. 😆

Have seen this pairing in the past & FL actually looks quite decent, alongside the show's montage (the smile brings out Megha's vibrance). Have seen her in her last show wherein she was decent in acting but the show lost its charm early onwards.
