Amsterdam 17 Sep 2022. Full performance of SMP and Pawandeep.

SMP really rocks! Especially I think both the guitarists Paras (lead) and Sahil (bass) really enjoyed Manali Trance. When SMP's Jhumroo reaches its frenzied end, Tushar (drums) amd Kamlesh (percussion) look like a fast forward video!

Pawandeep's song selection today was full of songs different from his usual list. 2 Punjabi songs, plus a segment of Lata ji's songs. I am a big fan of his and he sang those Lata ji songs very well, but then Arunita is Arunita and nobody can perform those numbers better than her!

Teri Mitti - I think the original team should just re-record a version in Pawandeep's voice and release it. He really owns this song now!

I saw clips of Salman’s performance and I must say he was excellent. He performed some of the numbers that Danish usually does and Salman is so much better on stage. I never liked his high pitched voice in the past but the clips I saw are very good. I noticed that the band changed got him. Looks like he took his own band members.
Suraj sir did not come live for Salman?
Arunita was sorely missed for sure. She has put a performance of PD on her Insta story 😀

I really like Salman. Sufi and High pitch is his genre but he is way more versatile than the likes of Sunny Hindustani and Sawai Bhat.

It worked for me. There were problems but overall theatre experience was awesome.

I haven't seen Salman's clips but I did notice that be travelled separately and that Suraj Rosario did not go live for his show. My guess is that he is managed by someone else.

I noticed that Arunita shared one of Chandni Mohapatra (of Rock On) post on her IG story, and she has put a Like on another one. I guess it is just st a message that "I did catch up on what went on" 😄
