I am curious what pattern it will follow next week. If it's going to be the same slow weekdays and heavy weekend. Sooryavanshi had a similar run, so might just be the post-pandemic reality.

I think this movie appeals to the family audience that is why maybe......weekdays mein its not possible for the whole family to go...schools, office and so many other things......just a guess....

As for Dev - part 2 - aloo and RK definitely gonna be there but if anyone I want see shah again in opening scene
I was bored so I was looking for where it could end. Sooryavanshi seems like the obvious comp at this point, which will take it to 244 Cr Hindi, just shy of TKF. Sanju is the other similar film. Sanju would get it to around 237 Cr. So 230-245 Cr Hindi and 255-270 Cr all languages.
Overseas the range should be 145-170 Cr. So lifetime gross should be 400-440 Cr. So it should end as the 10th or 11th highest grossing Hindi film.
It will be the second highest grosser of their careers for Ranbir (after Sanju) and Alia (after RRR). It would be Ayan and Dharma's highest grosser today and by the end of the week should be Fox's second highest film (after Sanju). It is also second highest grossing film for Disney India (after Dangal).
It's a good result by its own, but not great in context of the budget. Bollywood's own Cleopatra.
