Imlie atleast moved on after her trust was broken by Aditya by deleting the evidence (He did it for his baby according to him, so acc to his pov be is correct and let's forget all the other things she went through for now).
I don't think Aditya is evil, neither was Malini nor Imlie. Even I felt Malini's character arc was changed to justify Adilie relationship.
There was Kannada serial with similar premise, there ML is begged to marry 1st FL(illegitimate) to save her, he tells the FLs grandma and step bro that he some one else, so they request him to marry her and get her out of the village, to save her ML marries her and when they reach City she finds out truth and runs away.
She is later found by 2nd FL and brought home, ML doesn't know.... Both the FLs form lovely sisters bond, 1st FL is religious, so she keeps vratas for ML etc etc, she treats him like God and his mother too loves her so much, she saves him, his family, he too asks her to move on but she too comes from Village background so she too doesn't do it.
Inspite of all this, when 2nd FL comes to know the truth (she is married to ML but now , her mother is similar to Malini's mom) she is devastated, she falls, she gets sick.... Then she slowly recovers. 1st FL agrees for divorce finally finally after she sees how others are calling 2nd FL kept woman.
Then they started dragging the series, after some time, they show 2nd FL as probably dead, by now 2nd FLs mom too loving 1st FL and she even had given birth to 2nd FL and MLs child as surrogate mother.... 2nd FLs mom herself requests ML to marry 1st FL, even then and through out the series, he loves only 2nd FL.... He respects, protects (in ITV style), cares, etc etc for 1st FL....
She too sacrifices, protects him, understands him just like Imlie does for Aditya, but he never shifts his love from 2nd FL to 1st FL. Thankfully 1st FL finally moves on and marries some one else who is supportive of her just like Aryan is to Imlie.
So there are characters like this too. Stop blaming Imlie completely. Yes she should have told Malini, but it was finally and mainly Aditya's responsibility to let Malini know.
If Aditya can move on from Malini who could do anything for him, married someone who is not as rich as her, loved him for 7+ years, Imlie too can move on from her sometimes happy, most time hurting relationship.
I already have told Malini was butchered to justify Aditya falling in love with Imlie, but other than that, yes she was hurt, she has all the right to curse both of them but not human trafficking, raping, bombing etc etc
If Malini is justified, then everything else like murder, terrorism is justified because according to criminals they were not bad before, situations made them like this.
I have seen my friend going through betrayal like Malini, even after the intense hurt she did not become a murderer or a psycho. Even when lawyer was forcing her to exaggerate her complains against her in laws, so that her husband could suffer, she did not, She stuck to truth, that's called Integrity and that is her charcter.
Even after reading all this, if some people continue to make Imlie responsible for Malini's actions or calling Imlie characterless for moving on, then...... Good for you I guess.
Imlie was not responsible for Malini action. Nobody can be responsible for other action. It's choice what u select for yourself. I agree.
But she was indeed responsible for her condition. No one can tolerate u r deceiving by your dear. And she was deceiving by two people. Shaadi mazak to nahi hota na. Seven years was not joke.
Anyone can say Malini should had move on. But is it so easy. Imlie se jabardasti wali shaadi se move on nahi kiya gaya aur wo 7 saal k rishte se moveon kar leti. Yes all I can say she should have take some legal action if she wanted revenge as she was rich & educated. But this is not possible agar aisa hota to yahan baith kar sabhi Imlie ko justify nahi kar rahe hote. The show name is Imlie so FL is god.
Aditya was also responsible for this. He should had focused on Malini.
