One child is in danger, and in a bid to save her, they put the other one at risk. Why would they want to take Vinu along, when they are going alone to face a danger that they have no clue about. Why not call for force? I know people react without thinking under stress and fear. But isn't that what an IPS and Doctor are supposed to have as a primary trait?
Bravery is something, stupidity is completely different. The child is tied in the air, in complete danger. They cannot think of a rational plan, to concede temporarily, but instead will threaten and instigate the opponent that worsens the situation. Except the random dialogues, when surrounded by goons around..Confidence or Over-confidence. Heights!!
I'm not saying that they should give in to such anti-socials, but learn to find a way around tackling. Savi and later Vinu both were at risk. What if anything happened to any of them. They will only find reasons to blame each other and regret.
Savi was the light in all this, She is cuteness overloaded with smartness unparalleled for her age. She sends location, is smiling even after the fall, has the sense to throw a stone to get the gun dropped from the goon, and even joins the parents in beating up. She is a full powerhouse. When V knows the truth he may boast of his genes, but it is more the upbringing. Something that I have mentioned a few times, CN is not fit for raising children. Vinu is turning up to be another Virat. Vinu being the elder one did nothing but worsen things. And became the means to relay the events to devil herself. The manner in which it was passed on, will only place the blame on Sai for risking lives. Why didn’t V step in and ask Sai to give in then? Only muscle power, no brain power.

Sai mentions "Humari Beti", but the IPS topper does not register it. Before his minuscule brain could process a meaning(positive or negative), he was hit and the remaining cells departed his top storey. Even when he saved Savi, she is Sai's daughter. The smile after the jump had no expression of any lingering doubts of being the father.
V catches Sai from the fall. There is a moment. But Sai is back to "Meri beti, Meri Savi".

A few things that they trying to establish
They are a family. Sai and V are a married couple. I know that the PH is known of bigamy and extra marital, but in ITV, usually when ML/FL is married, while they are in love with someone else, they try to this love is not meant to be, and the marriage has more prominence and will gradually find it place. It is subtly implied through signs and scenes. The fall and catch, eye locks and stuff. But here, Sai and V and the children together pose a pic of a true family, and so do V-Sai of a married couple despite their current status.
The way P was freaking out, was not a usual expression of a fear...it had vibrations of mental ill person. @Sadhika - I see signs of P2 even if V is unaware
