Not in urban India, but it's possible in rural/semi urban India.

If you've led a pretty sheltered life and have been the subject of brickbats from relatives, it can happen.

Lots of stuff in the show probably suited to the 90's rather than the 2020's though!

Personally speaking, I can't say FL's character (and acting) has me fully convinced, but I'm willing to give a bit of leeway if the makers can demonstrate believable growth in her character over a period of time.

PS- Wasn't she supposed to be a klutz with regard to directions earlier in the show? That seems to have disappeared from her character now.
