Yeah, I agree. He thinks she is out of the world innocent. So, he is caring towards her in that way. The washing hands and cleaning her face with tissue gesture towards that.
But at the same time, her fresh insights on life mesmerise him as well - the presentation, the story about "lohe ki kulhadi" etc.
Till now, he has dealt with worldly people, not someone as out of world as Vidhi. I think for both these reasons he is comfortable with her. Like that day he shared with Vidhi that "Baal Ghar" is his "nanihaal", adding that "I don't know why I am telling you this" or in the precap today when he says - "main yahan tumhaare saath aaya, bina soche bina samjhe, pata nahin kyun"..........
Going out of the topic, I am quoting what Rochester said about Jane (another age-gap story from the novel Jane Eyre) - "a rare one, a gentle gracious stranger of the such good and bright qualities, which you have sought for twenty years, and never before encountered; and they are all fresh, healthy, without soil and without taint. Such (society) company revives, regenerates: you feel better days come back — higher wishes, purer feelings; you desire to recommence your life, and to spend what remains to you of days in a way more worthy of an immortal being.”
