Watched the teaser of Meri Shehzad. It's based on the life of Princess Diana. It's an interesting concept. Why on almost dead channel Hum? Why Urwa? She's strictly an average actress. I'm interested in the desi version of 'The Crown' but everything looks disappointing, especially Urwa.

So it's based on Diana.

I find the entire royal family overrated and don't get people's obsession with them. Esp people of the countries that were colonised by the British.

I have only seen urwa in udaari and mushk and she was good in both. I guess if the director and her character are good, she delivers.

I think hum is the only one out of the 3 that don't overdramatise their dramas and the good ones don't give startplus vibes. Their dramas still give pak drama feels. They also seems to take risks with projects like badshah begum. It might not have lived up to the expectations but atleast they tried something different instead of playing safe. But i guess they don't have the budget ary or geo has.

I'm not interested in the royal family's daily life, but I won't lie that I'm interested in Diana's autobiography. 😆It has everything which keeps anyone hooked. Whenever Princess Diana's story has been narrated, it brought much-needed shame to the royal family. She was cheated by the entire family, not just by Charles and Camila. 'The crown' was a well-made series, but never thought of a 'desi' version.

Urwa as an actress is a big no for me, her sister is much better than her. I find Hum like 'Sony Tv' of India. In the teasers, Urwa is just roaming around like a model. Diana's role requires depth and emotions should be expressed with eyes.

I was talking generally about people's obsession with the royal family. I remember the social media was filled with their news when Megan got married into the royal family and all the controversies that followed with it which is still going on. Why do people think getting married into that family is such a big deal? They have really bad genes and they all age so badly😆.

Diana's entire life is pretty good for movies and dramas. It has all the drama people needs. I have seen some videos related to her and what happened to her. I hated that her family thought getting an 18-19 year old married to a guy double her age was a good idea. What did Diana even saw in that guy?

This drama dont look like a big project. Its directed by mere humsafar director and the cast is also pretty average. So i don't think the writing will be deep enough that only an extremely talented actress can pull of the role. I think it's written by zehjabeen and she is specialised in writing way too much negative story and ruining the drama midway. So this one seems like a pretty average project.

Did urwa do something to her face? She started looking weird lately. It looks like her eyes are always bulged out. she looked really nice in mushk and had good expressions. I liked her character in mushk. She was grey shaded and still had a happy ending.

In Diana's wedding video, she looked more royal than the entire royal family, Charles comes nowhere near her beauty and grace. Whatever I have watched about her, it looks like she was too good for that royal shit. She was a woman with a spine for exposing the real royalty of the royals.

I remember Harry and Meghan had created controversy with that infamous interview.🤣 For some reason, I am not at all interested in any other royal shit except Diana. I will check out Meri Shehzadi, but Urwa looks unconvincing. I wish someone works on this concept with actors who could do justice to the characters.

I hope this one is a positive character, Kiran is the epitome of negativity with that weirdo hairstyle. 😆

It seems like she is playing positive. I think anmol does negative and positive roles simultaneously.

I don't think i will even check out that drama. Didn't interest me much. If farhan was in it i might have given it a try.
