Funny thing is when I was defending Shamshera, people were calling me a Ranbir fan while the so-called real fans were in hiding. And now I'm not a fan instead meri jal rahi hai just because I posted something negative related to the film.

And what's with posting memes and mocking me while patting each other's backs? Maybe take a proper look at what y'all are doing because this is high school bully behaviour.

Oh the movie opened really well, absolutely no argument there. And yes Ranbir will definitely reap the benefits of this even if the movie doesn’t do well in the long run. My point is the credit for this opening number is not Ranbir’s.

I know I’m poking the hornets nest here but Gangubai being a hit is highly debatable. Rule of thumb is whatever money a movie makes is split 50/50 between distributors and exhibitors. Gangu made 124cr which means distributors got around 62cr of that. They had paid 90cr for that movie. They didn’t even break even. So unless there was a different contract between distributors and exhibitors this time, or everyone reported the distributors price wrong, Gangu wasn’t a hit.

Brahmstra opened huge. 32cr Hindi collections is a really good number even on a holiday. But yea Alia doesn’t deserve the credit anymore than Ranbir does. Give it to Dharma’s aggressive marketing which includes bringing Rajmouli and Ntr Jr on board, and IMAX high prices 😆

Do you think that the general movie watching public cares for all those calculations....they don't ....these are for producers and fans like us who want to call a movie flop some way..not excusing myself...been there done that...so I know how it works..😆

No one is going to call a movie that makes 200 cr a flop...atleast not the general audience...because all they see is people flocking the theaters...people liking it and people talking about it..

Ranbir is hopefully going to benefit from this....I know you said its not his credit to take....but if the movie had flunked on day 1...guess who you have been blaming...😆 Just like before Sanju's release...Ranbir was going to give Hirani his first flop...after the movie broke aa records...it became Hirani's movie...Sanjay's interesting life story and what not..

Anyways....no one knows what Bramhastra will do...today is just the first day and who knows that u guys will still get reason to rejoice....I am just happy that the Boycott gang was slapped hard...they know their worth now that movies flop because of other reasons but not because of them....that makes me happy.

I was like anything over 15 cr or 20 cr would be good....just looking at the way movies are opening these days...😆
