I think they will speed up to adulthood soon. Given that they FFed the bg & the deaths in like 3 episodes so far, might give probably few more scenes or something before they enter adulthood phase.

Komal Meer's last few shows were nothing but comedy circus. Though given the character arc buildup they are doing with her role to buildup the greyness in her character from childhood, might be interesting but let's see.

Although her shows haven't been great lately I like her . Almost all of her daily shows are hit. Khushal is also great in his last three shows from what I have seen. The theme is great, but, I just hope HUM don't ruin by dragging unnecessarily.

I heard it's based on a novel. Can someone tell me what's the story is about and whether it has tragic ending or not.

Yes, it has tragic ending. And contrast to most of the show. Both leads are grey/

The female lead is also grey? She looked positive in the teasers. I got that khushhal's character will be grey or even crazy but didn't know komal will also have grey shades.

From the promos i got that khushhal's character lost his father and now has a step father that don't treat him well and he has psychological issues due to all the abuse he faced since childhood.

Yes, she is. Even in her backstory, she seems grey if you have the first episode, I haven't watched further episodes. Yes, Khushaals character will change because of step father's presence. It will change further due to Komal.
