Yep the genre is fantasy.

Story goes like a modern day girl helps a boy out of water and during that time eclipse happen and she wakes up in the Goreo dynasty ( ancient Korean dynasty). It's about her adventures, her fitting in the era, her love life and bond with Princes of that time.

Moon Lovers is one of the memorable drama of k-dramaland. The performance is strong, the story is unique and new. And the ML is the final take for dark, twisted, yet grey and vulnerable character I have ever seen.

Most of reviews were like we want 2nd season as show was open ended I had already dealt with this in Goblin, so I didn't want another one😆

FOE is in my list, Lee Joon Gi is the ultimate dark, misunderstood person in every drama 

He is like that in most show

I forgot to mention Hotel Del Luna. That one was too open ended

If you think Goblin is bad ending then be careful of watching this utterly depressing show 😆 but the performances are worthy.

Goblin's was a bittersweet ending but Moon lovers is heartbreaking unless they bring 2nd season.

Thats why I ll not watch it ever. Don't think there will be 2 nd season. It's too late.

Goblin was superb for 15 epi plus 30 min of last. But last 30 min was😡.

I rem crying a week for Goblin. That he had to wait for her to be born again, and acc to them a person has four lives so she has 3 livespan with him and after that he wi ne alone again 😭 then I read some theory that Goblin may die after her 4th life so it was acceptable.

Moon lovers I cried for a month but it was worth it.

Can't imagine what viewers have felt who watched it in real time. I watched 4 yrs later yet it bothered me.

Theories apart makers should have given the hint if he will die after her 4 lives.Thats why I hate open endings more than sad ones.
