Jagtap did horrible crimes. But the judicial system believes in redemption and change of a person after a crime. While I can imagine it is hard for a criminal like Jagtap to change in 5 years...his term at the jail where he would have been grounded and also Sai's kind gesture towards him despite his crimes towards her would have been a catalyst at this transformation.

Pakhi lacks that time and space to recover and rewire her brain. That is the problem. Virat is not letting her go. He is 'allowing' her to get tied down to him and his family somehow. The best way to change pakhi is to keep her away from Virat and the family. I am wondering how no one suggested them that, even the world famous doctor Pullu. But then again she has to be made the conflict point in the story.

So yeah while it is tough to believe Jagtap has changed, I can understand why he would have change of heart.

But Sai giving him such a huge role in her life is a shocker! He may have reformed. He can help her indirectly.

Why will Sai marry to Jagtap? Common for God's sake she is a doctor, highly educated person. Just because makers can't bring a new ML for Sai(for obvious reasons) every time they bring Jagtap opposite Sai.

Ghum story is bizarre. Par haan if Patralekha Madam can change, why not a Jagtap. If Pakhi can change, now has a heart of gold,become a loving mother...why can't Jagtap become a normal person atleast. He can become Sai's well wisher,protector and ofcourse Savi 's best friend.

Ghum mei kuch bhi normal nahi hei. That's why I want to watch Savi n Jagtap frienship ,rather than watching pathetic Chavanis.

Even if Jagtap has changed- he us more likely than PP to actually change- there is NO way any one let alone Sai who will allow this man to be near their child. A person who murdered your father, brother, almost raped you! Cmon. This is atrocious. The fact that Savi is "friends" with him is insane. They are doing it to make Sai now get on equal footing in terms of V in being ridiculous. Because audience has aired their frustration regarding V being an ass, insensitive jerk.

See even if JM is now a saint, the things he did cannot be forgotten.

Sai does not believe in holding grudges lifelong and wants mental peace, she also is the types to move forward. She is also very righteous and way too mature about doing right by people who dont deserve it. She's the type who will slap a guy for harassment and set aside her prejudice to treat them if they were injured. So all that is fine. But even so, it makes NO sense to show Sai approve of JM in her and Savi's life. He can be involved without Sai knowing or approving for his own prayaschit but showing Sai be ok with Savi hanging out with the man who murdered her father EVEN if he has demonstrated a change of heart by saving Savi or something major - its really stupid.

This is clearly deliberate. Butcher FL in order to whitewash V and PP.

But audience is will still find PP more distasteful than JM because PP- V has a direct impact on Sai's role, haq as a wife and mother.

Sai accomodated pp only because of V, family and the child. She was pregnant with her baby so she had to compromise and its natural that she reacted only when the tolerance threshold was breached.

But this Jaggu being too friendly is complete character assassination no matter how much he proves his redemption
