When a similar track happened in season 2, Kartik didn’t stop himself or his family when Swarna did the same to Naira. He didn’t help Naira when Suhasini dragged her outside and shut the door.

Not saying ones better than the other but when I saw that scene, I couldn’t help but draw that comparison.

Akshu you are such a strong character. You don’t scream or scheme or break things - you’re clear and honest, and that’s enough to shut people up. That’s one of the things you and Abhi connect on the most - your clarity.

There it was his new found mothers emotions which he had to respect . Here it's mahima who is abhimanyus chachi and she doesn't have the authority to drag akshu out of the house . Mahima can do that to shefali though .abhimNyus weakness is manjari and his weakness would be akshu plus their children. When the issue will be with any of them, he may not necessarily support akshu.

It's not like kartik never supported naira..he did when his dadi kicked naira out , believing that she was pregnant with this guy whereas it was her friend who she was protecting.....he supported naira against his cousins luv kush in the molestation case. And there must be others which I didn't watch.

Naira had more dignity than anyone else . And less brains of course 😆akshu lacks both ..however love can never be compared ..abhira or naksh or kaira , they loved each other deeply.

Yet Karthik didn't bother listening to Naira when his brother overdosed. Neither did he think twice about questioning her about whether something happened between her and that other guy. He didn't hesitate getting married to Vedika and when she manipulated him over the kidney donation, he was willing to go on a honeymoon trip with her. He was also quick to move on from his dead wife and get it on with her doppelganger and pretty quick to have a kid with her too.

You said it. Everyone is a great character in the beginning . Let abhimanyu come to that stage .

Initially nobody believed that kartik will be reduced to this. Now also nobody believes that they are characters which can go any direction for trps..

The diff is that it's akshus bro who is the culprit here and it's abhimanyus cousin who's who's victim . If the culprit was akshu and victim his mother , he won't believe akshu easily . Did he believe her in harsh divorce track? They cut short everything but they cud have made it huge . Still I appreciate the patience he showed with akshu and kairav both

True. I started hating karthik. He seems very spineless when compared to Abhimanyu. Couldnt ever stand against daadi or his family.

How do these comparisons make any sense? Naira was directly involved in what happened with Shubham? She made a huge miscalculation and Kartik had every right to question her? You don't wait for a birthday party celebration to be over or for the person to come out themselves and tell an entire congregation of people that they're so badly addicted to drugs they can barely function and might overdose any second.

Akshara wasn't even present at the scene. As far as Abhimanyu and Birlas are concerned whatever happened was between KV and Anisha and Akshara's guilt was that of association. What anger could anyone possibly conjure toward her?

Naira and Kartik saw their first separation at least two years into their relationship - 1+ into their marriage? Kartik thrashed anyone who caused Naira the slightest of discomforts.

Shubham's death was quite the shock for them all. Naira kept the truth from everyone and Kartik had every right to be angry at her. He told her to leave for the time being because emotions were running high and people were volatile at GVilla. Everyone, including Naira, needed time to process what happened (again debatable what he meant by leaving? Was it to their room because he expected her to be there by the time they returned after performing Shubham's last rites).

Obviously an entire MU ensued but both the situations are completely different?

One can go to the nitty gritty and ponder had Kartik been standing in close vicinity, had Naira fallen somewhere in his trajectory, would he have caught her? The one clip that's going viral is of her literally sitting two cms away from Swarna when Swarna pushes her and Naira's already sitting down so she doesn't fall down? Meanwhile Kartik's standing pretty far away to come to her aid?

Using that absurd two second clip for comparison is stupid in the first place. (Also, Suhasini dragging her out? When did that happen? Wasn't she instead waiting for Kartik on the terrace IN GVilla?)

Abhira's separation has a different context, different character dynamics, and obviously different reactions?

Baaki let's not compare six years of Kartik to what 10 months of Abhimanyu? Kartik was the holiest boy in town at the 10 month mark please.😆 This is DKP/ITV. We can only hope they don't do to their new ML what they did to their last one. Although I do think they're a little bound here given HC's seniority and star power. He's not exactly going to roll with a lot of stuff Mohsin easily said yes to. And there's an established bias which ironically has done nothing to elevate the script. Typical DKP copouts: write shitty stuff, gaslight the audience for not giving you trps, write some more shitty stuff.👏

Anyone who saw the previous generation fully would know how different that first separation was from this one.. Just watching random clips and praising what one is already biased towards against something that isn't even properly known is plain ignorance.
