This is versatility? 😆

ST has played Imlie for two years now. In those two years she has portrayed a character with an Awadhi accent and village background. She has been mostly child-like in her demeanor throughout her time in this story.....even when she tries to do bahu-like things, she looks and sounds like a tomboyish brat play-acting at being a feminine woman😆. On RWSP she jumps around like a kid in a playhouse running from one corner to the other constantly dancing and jumping. All of these things are part of her real personality....so where exactly is the "versatility"? Isn't versatility about doing something that isn't in your comfort zone?

She played a few disguises while playing Imlie and she was overacting in both of those disguises - especially the Kairi one.

ST is a good actress....but when people start hailing her as some never before seen level of versatile actress, I can't take them seriously. She is yet to demonstrate any actual versatility beyond playing versions of a tomboyish brat.....even her "motherly" zone with this Cheeni is mostly being shown as her in a big sister zone with the kid who doesn't even call her Mom....lol and the time she was pregnant in the story was mostly spent crying rather than being convincing in any way as a mother feeling connected to the child in her womb. ST just plays versions of a tomboyish brat bulldozing her way through life or crying like a bechari kid. That isn't exactly versatility.

So yeah, let Imlie end and let's see what role ST manages to get beyond a village girl after that and then talk about versatility in acting😆

Doing one photoshoot with heavy makeup is not versatility in acting.....a photoshoot only involves standing and posing....lol what exact versatility does that require from an ACTOR? 😕

ST is not in a position or we have not seen ST in different roles apart she portrayed in imlie . But I feel she can step into any role. If luck favours her .

There are many actresses who excels i their acting skill . But they can’t be portrayed variety of roles . For some actors/actress if they acted in 10 films and we mute & see it we may not able to recognise which film .

Some actors aura will allowed them to do only a certain group of characters, but I doesn’t feel ST as such a person .

So let's wait to see her do different roles first, right? Why are people already calling her versatile when she has literally had success mainly through playing same kind of village girl both in Article 15 as well as this show? 😆

That is the problem with ST's blind worshippers trying to hype her right now....they are trying to claim that ST has already achieved the pinnacle of acting and versatility at 18 simply over playing Imlie.....lol no one even wants to wait to see what she manages to do next....it's like the summary of her life is Imlie and how much she can milk all the buzz from this character by doing childish "je phireee" type antics.

Only person I saw around ST who actually seemed to be trying to push her not to box herself in stereotypical stuff at 18 was GM....lol and she had no value or appreciation for that...right now it appears all she wants to do for the rest of her life is just keep doing this Imlie brand of lingo and claiming herself to be "je phireee" over that much only😆

She is not the best dancer and best actress as her fangirls keep trying to hype her to be.....she can BECOME a lot if she shows any interest in actually EVOLVING as a person/actor....but she's just coming across as childish and clueless in every way.....with no indication she actually wants to do anything in life other than cater to superficial things.

I fully agree. ST is a fabulous actress👏.

ST is talented and a good actress for sure but too early to call her the best ever - we will have to wait and see what she does after the many seasons of imlie😆

On a lighter note- I thought didi is the most versatile 😆😆

There is no doubt ST is a good actress but not to the level of Shweta Tiwari or Sakshi Tanwar or Smriti Irani or Jennifer Winget . She hadnt even got the chance to portray even 5% of what these actresses got . Just see Sakshi Tanwar in Mai S1 will understand the difference bw what class actor they are 😎 Surbhi Chandana rocks as bubbly girl better than ST even her slang those nautankis. ITv has more successful and talent actress than Sumbul Toqueer khan.

ST has long way to go. 😆 .some of my fav parts where ST excelled was imlie saving Adi from Villagers with that sickle in her hand and Baath khatam rishta Khatam. These two r my fav scene of ST.

The lines between self-confidence and brattish behavior have definitely started to blur for ST off late. She was always a confident girl and never intimidated by any task put in front of her.....confidence is good but it's a double edged sword when it blinds you towards the inclination towards LEARNING.

ST is just 18....barely stepping into the cusp of adulthood and she is behaving as if she has already mastered all forms of acting and dancing 😆....I don't know if it's just her way of talking now or that sense of false bravado that kids like to use when talking themselves up to hide any uncertainties they may feel....lol but that's how ST behaves now....like she's figured out everything from acting to life to relationships at 18 and there is nothing else for her to learn or grow from😆. And for a girl to think this at merely EIGHTEEN....when she has a whole longgggg life ahead of her....not sure where that leaves room for her to grow.

Every IV is focused on the fact that she's had a tough life and seen many tough circumstances to get to this point.....nobody is denying her struggle....but is she now trying to say her struggle has ended at 18? Has she figured out all of life at 18 simply cuz she struggled in her early childhood? Where does that leave her for the rest of her life as a performer then? To stagnate at EIGHTEEN is quite the tragedy in my eyes frankly. Her fangirls hyping her blindly are doing her no favors.....if they were truly her fans, they would expect growth from her to evolve into all the potential she has....because no one is denying the POTENTIAL and talent ST has....where people disagree is whether she seems capable of achieving her potential given how typecast her roles and acting have become now.
