He should play roles that have good substance in them. He has already left a big legacy behind him so he doesn't have to prove anything. Roles should be choosed wisely.

Aamir has already redefined what it means to be a leading man through TZP and Dangal. He was great in age appropriate role in Dangal.

He has already been avoiding conventional romantic lead roles for a decade now. He played dad in Talaash also.

He was first Khan to do dad roles in 90s also when he did Akele Hum akele tum and Raja Hindustani.

I am sure he can easily do roles and films that suit him. He proved it with Dangal and TZP.

I do wonder what happened to his script sense though. Not of Lagaan or RDB, TZP level anymore.
