Well tbh the editor should make better promos. In Ishq Hai we had all the scenes but were left wondering the order.

Shamsher is clearly blaming Mehak and her family. Obviously he thinks Akram acted that night when the accident happened. He doesn't know was transpired and Mehak didn't tell Atiqa too. Keeping her mouth shut is proving him correct in his eyes.
But that does not justify his actions. He is wrong the way he's treating/will treat Mehak. However we do know where and why that madness streak arose.
I think the drama has hit 8.0 two three times atleast. But i dont think it has crossed that.

Thoda sa suspense rakhna chahiye ab inko, ya toh chronology ulti-seedhi kar do.
The main reason why we used to go nuts during Ishq Hai was because we had no idea what the sequence of events will be.
Not to brag, but the drama's teaser views also get more views than what the other dramas' epsiodes manage to get.. ofcourse barring MH.
