Boycott or not, this whole prerelease news hogging culture that’s being adopted by the movies in the name of promotions has to stop. They are taking away the entire fun from movie watching. They are more concerned about grabbing the most eyeballs on the opening day and that obsession has to also stop.

It’s a good one time watch. They could have done so much more instead of the lazy copy pasting and wherever they tried to tweak it kinda spoilt the essence for me. Aamir could’ve toned down his eye bulging but that didn’t bother me much because I know the autistic people who exhibit such mannerisms. Loved Kareena’s Rupa and the one who played LSC’s mom. How I wish there was a Rupa in every special needs child’s life!:(

Music is soulful btw. Got to hear Sonu after a long time.😍

There was no such thing. Misinformation is being spread by the haters. LSC’s mom didn’t want him to go out during the communal riots that we’re going on at that point of time(they didn’t focus on those riots, let alone making any commentary) so she scares him that there was malaria being spread outside- she starts this when he was much younger when it was difficult to explain to him the real situation. So LSC ends up associating religion with Malaria.

Like already mentioned, there was absolutely ZERO reference to anything Hinduism.

Got it.
edited my comment to not further spread it.

Will be watching the both movies wknd

But if the movie is really good , good content , well made , no boycott matters

I saw shamshera , bad movie , story itna ghatiya tha don’t even ask

RRR , Pushpa and KGF are interesting watch , regardless of their shortcomings , at least it keeps you engaged

BB2 was also enjoyable , well made , full on entertainment, so it scores!

this is the new excuse for Bollywood. They cannot accept the fact that the product itself is mediocre..They did the same with Shamsheraa too. Waiting to see what does KJO come up with if Bramashtra indeed is a mediocre film as well (as the promos so far suggests)

why is it so hard for these male actors to accept that the entire film was weak and no matter how big of a star, a mediocre product will be rejected. it has happened with all the Khans, bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn then Ranbir, Ranveer, Varun etc. kya cheez hai?

The pandemic and the Netflix/Amazon Prime era has brought some kind of a positive change in viewers minds. Gone are the days where viewers used to be so crazy about starpower that they would ignore bad storyline and crappy performances and rush to theaters to watch their movies. Now they think twice before going to theaters. If they find the movies overall good and interesting they go otherwise they anyway have the options of watching them digitally.

LSC would have been a hit if the movie was good. It's not the boycott that made people stay away from the movie. It's the movie itself and of course Aamir's terrible performance. I wish they had casted a younger actor in the movie.

@ bold: another reason why lot of viewers get disinterested. trust your product, if its good, it will work. this whole marketing and PR has killed the fun and excitement for any movie tbh. I miss the whole excitement and butterflies wali feeling when I go to see a movie in a theater and just enjoy the movie and nothing else. I felt that last time during KGF2 and that was a sequel to a successful film so the hype was unreal but surprisingly enjoyed BB2 as well.
