No it doesn't. Because people boycott every BW film these days. Be it of Hindu actors/directors or Muslims. They are SSR bots who run this campaign before the release of any major movie.

These trends by religious fanatics or SSR bots can influence 1000-2000 people at max, not more. It's the BW that has gone downhill and our taste has improved.

For instance, before pandemic I used to go watch every f*cking movie in theater irrespective of reviews / actors. Now, I don't even come to know what is releasing coz I have lost interest completely. I don't like watching these oldies Khans, Akki, overacting nepo kids (Varun/Arjun/Jahnvi/Ananya) etc on screen coz I have better options on OTT platforms. Last movie I watched in theater was BB2 coz of young Kartik Aryan. And i watched some HW movies and major South movies like Vikram, KGF2, Pushpa, etc.

The boycotting is absolute nonsense

Some of the reasons for boycotting be like

“Villain is a Hindu who wears a tilak…someone wore Chappals while a bhajan was being sung in the background …heroine reads namaz on Diwali day…darga is shown with better lighting than a Mandir…church father was shown as tall and fit while poojari was shown with a paunch…British ppl are shown as positive” ….lage raho sab

These aren’t reasons these are lame excuses

Half the times they assume there is something offensive and boycott the film instead of waiting for the film to come out

The other half it’s chillar reasons like above

…never mind if the hero is Hindu..villain can’t be a Hindu…Hindus are being shown in bad light there

Never mind if RRR shows a positive british woman helping the Indians …how dare shamshera have positive British ppl?

Padmaavat hassss romantic scenes with khiljii….no she didn’t u morons …

films flop coz they are just not entertaining

Apart from bots, no one takes these lame excuses seriously
