I think because the step brother declined the owner ship of Raichand business reign + hotel chain. Yeah, Abhimanyu also stated that they are step-brothers which is why he thinks that Dev doesn't understand that cooking is his passion. Toh perhaps the fact that they are step-brothers might've pinched Dev.

I think so too. Dev feels responsibility for them and they are close to him. In fact, he gave up his personal life to bring up his half-siblings and looking after the business.
Whereas Abhimanyu feels trapped, as he does not want the business regardless and lashing out.
As predicted today, Dev lashed out when she talked about his family and their food skills. Vidhi was trying to connect and was excited about it but the timing was wrong.
I am glad Vidhi is trying to improve, rather than again doubt herself 😳
