As per wat i understood Gul can't handle a show beyond a year.. all her shows had limited no of episodes.. her long running show was QH with 800+epi.. but they story was ruined i guess(not sure coz I watched only till ksg was there).. next in line IB.. with 700+ epi.. there also they explored maximum.. reboot, kangal hona, spin off etc . Next in line is Imlie with 500+ episodes.. then geet with 470 episodes there also bankruptcy, memory loss, mc, mu all explored.. next ipk ssn1 with 408 episodes.. there the reason was different.. ipk ssn 3 70 episodes.. wic flopped .. so gul doesn't like to stretch the rubber band more i guess..
But Imlie has potential stories to b explore.. they could have shown bankruptcy, Memory loss but no seedha they went for leap.. 🥺🥺🥺🥺

True...They had many more plots to explore.
This reminds me of the show that made me become a member of IF.
In that show they wanted a generation leap so they made the main couple have twin daughters. Afterwards they killed off the male lead by making him fall off a cliff
(By the way how many serials do you know of in which one or both of the leads have fallen off cliffs to their death?).
They made the female lead play one of the daughters but also retained her in a dual role to continue as the twins' mother because the show was in the mother's name. The chemistry of the lookalike daughter with her new male lead wasn't quite up to par with that of the original pairing and it was reflected in the low TRP.
So the makers tried another trick. They brought in the original male lead as a totally different character and put him opposite the mum but the magic was gone and no-one was interested anymore so the show went off air.

This plot sounds so familiar and i think i have watched it but can't remember the name of the show 😆was it on rangeela by any chance?
