Yes true. But he's not strict with her n this show.

Keeps crossing boundaries. It gives her hope.

And he's not too nice with his own wife all the time. She waits to create misunderstanding and tries to jump in.

In ghum it looks as if he's more close to Pakhi due to their personal life and close camera angles.

With Sai he stands so far off.

Viewers get that feel also.

Well he isn’t i terms of getting physical but otherwise he always there.
Actually emotional infidelity is much bigger betrayal than physical. If a husband always sides with another woman, knowing her intentions to harm wife. To an extent that he gives away only child to another woman, the other woman clearly has upper hand. So what he goes to his room n sleeps with wife- he is doing everything else for this other woman.

and since beginning this is what Pakhi wanted. Virat prioritize her. And he is giving her that.
