In the old movies murder if done with a knife used to be attack in the gut, which was graphic enough but nowadays they go for the jugular

They draw a straight bloody line in the neck with knife or with a piece of thread 🤢 Very graphic... It's common in Crime Patrol which is supposedly based on real life cases..

Crown prince Deependra killed most of his family as they stopped him from marrying his lady love Devyani Rana... Coz somewhere her bloodline was 'tainted'... Devyani went on to marry Arjun Singh ka relative, years after the massacre

Princess Shruti's husband has also remarried...

In all it was a great tragedy

How did all the Gyanendra's family members who were present there escape? I don't know much about the family or their history but was the Prince really capable of doing that?

Gyanendra apparently spread a rumour that Deependra was addicted to drugs.. Was unstable etc... A lot of people find Gyanendra and his son Paras shady

Gyanendra wasn't revered like King Birendra was... Right from his accession to the crown, Gyanendra was hated as the Nepalese public suspected his hand in the massacre... Else why would Deependra fire so indiscriminately... even Prince Niranjan was killed... Looks systematic to me.. Wipe out the king's family and ascend to the throne
