What I meant was, the earlier user wasn't wrong in quoting CPI numbers, for all practical purposes, we have set a target range for retail inflation so that is what we will be quoting, especially when you speak of purchasing power of the people.

The whole divergence between WPI and CPI is a different debate altogether and can't be concluded in one sentence.

Mai bola ki Inflation calculation change kar liya hai most would know we had WPI as our headline inflation before 2014, today its CPI

Okay sorry, my bad. I thought you were quoting WPI. Anyways, aise dekha jaaye toh WPI ke Food index ka asar significantly retail pe padta hi hai, given its weightage in the CPI index.

It is just that people like me are too lazy to go to theaters now... And hear noise from people around.. OTT is more convenient. Covid has altered the movie going habits of people. The long break has changed the habits of even the most avid movie goers

They need to reduce samosa and popcorn price. Movies se dar nahi lagata , snacks ke price se lagta hai.

Obviously it is working. Otherwise why are films flopping.

I am boycotting Laal Singh Chaddha, not just because it is cringe and cheap copy, but also due to Aamir Khan and hus blatant insult of Hindu Gods and also Kareena Kapoor, who said film nahi dekhna hai toh mat dekho.

Mai PVR gaya tha merko 300 rupees ka ticket pada

Popcorn liya merko bola ki kon sa size chahiye mai medium wala liya aur ek cola

Popcorn ka charge tha 300 rupee aur cola ka 250 rupee

Aisa bhi hai ki before COVID we had a habit of going out once a week ab we can stay at home
