I dont believe that V would have defended Sai to PP. His defense of Sai is always weak. Probably some token line about oh her intentions arent bad. Bass. but only NB, makers and the blind V fans will think thats acceptable enough to show V's commitment or love for his wife.

Strong defense toh he does only when he is defending his bff/ex. After all that has happened , the fact that he thinks she thinks of her as "family", "friend" and he doesnt call her vahini and maintain a distance asking her to talk to ashwini or shivani for such things and encourages her to feel free to call him anytime of the day for rubbish reasons demonstrates what a hypocrite he is. he enjoys having the attention of 2 women and plays bechaara. its all BS.

It would be so upsetting to create all this hulla about Sai being pregnant only to throw ice water at audience again when it ends up being another ploy and fake kaand. If anyone desrves the joy of motherhood and her own khoon ka rishta it is Sai. This is not something to play with :(

it is SO wrong if they get hopes up and dash it again. motherhood, pregnancy are all sensitive issues.

another great future plot point will be if Sai is shown getting eager to learn about her ancestry and finding some sort of connection with some guy who maybe distantly related to her but still khoon ka rishta and Sai getting very invested in spending time with him because she has always craved that. they can make that guy mysterious with no clear idea if hes a villain or well intentioned.
