Oh Man the nostalgia that hit me so hard seeing these😆 as funny as the need promos are it still is sharam ka mukkam for aajkal ke "epic" characters jinko show ke 2 hafte baad bhi koi yaad nahi karya and here we have actual epic characters who indeed became kahaani gajr ghar ki padt of families..and have such a great recall value that even for its rerun in some afternoon slot too the channel finds a way to promote them and promote that content even though it is not the main attraction anymore but lol sure we have "epics" now

Tab actors ki kuch class hoti thi - that is why they became household names too....they sold that OTT content with the strength of their acting no matter how much melodrama would go on.....that is why audience was emotionally invested in the journeys of all the characters no matter how extended the families got.....lol

Chalo if they start regularly uploading on Hulu also, I might pick this up for a rewatch.....I never watched KGGK when it aired in real time....lol KZK hi dekhte tab and couldn't keep up with all the big three regularly😆.....KSBKBT bhi on and off hi kabhi dekha and KGGK I think I only ever watched a bit regularly during Janki track....lol uske ilava I don't even know the characters much.

Dev finally got his chance to return the bowl money😆 and also offer the job to Vidhi.....lol and they did a good job of showing everything in a flow. He initially only went there to return the money but woh ladkewaale were talking crap so he felt compelled to defend Vidhi ki capabilities and then ultimately offer the job to her as a sign of how much he respects her honesty.

LOL Vidhi's dad is calling Dev BHAISAAB and basically said they are almost the same age🤣.....the makers are really rubbing in the age difference of the leads😆.....kabhi uncle bol dete hain, kabhi father ki umar ka....lol

Anyways Vidhi's father refused the job offer saying ki humare ghar ke ladkiyaan kaam nahin karti toh Dev quite nicely responded to him about why Vidhi should work and about how puraani soch has to change too. I liked the bit when Dev walked up to Vidhi directly and said she doesn't need to work for money but to build her confidence and personality - to step out into the world and make her pehchaan on her own so that no one else can ever make fun of her....he really reiterated that point a lot in telling her to never let anyone make fun of her like this and also told her that her honesty is her best quality and she should never change this about herself.

Vidhi ka already weak confidence aur hil gaya after ladkewaalon ki bakwaas who told her woh kisi layak nahin, kaabil nahin blah blah toh end mein Vidhi ki mom was trying to remind her that a guy like Dev valued her qualities so she needs to remember to value herself too.

Epi ended on Dev finding Amba ki pink love letter under his pillow....LMAO yeh psycho Amba is trying to channel mythological heroines with dialogues like "main apne baal nahin baandhungi jab tak humari shaadi nahin ho jaati".....also apparently her and Dev were together 15 years ago....lol so I'm even more skeptical now of an ex-wife angle.....yeh Amba ke ilava agar ek aur thi toh bhai time kahaan tha is bande ki life mein?

Waise aaj bhi Vidhi ke father invited Dev to come visit their mandir sometime with his wife and Dev again just smiled and didn't clarify that he isn't married....lol so make what you will of that.

Precap shows Vidhi's mom is secretly doing a job at a sari store and hiding it from her husband since he won't agree to it. LOL so quite possible Vidhi will also secretly start the job at Dev's company with encouragement from her mom who seems to be more open-minded than Vidhi's dad.

😃 Exactly this!! they had a sense of Dignity and they would onlys ell their sould to an extent not like aajkal ke shameless losers.. OH kahaani main ne bhi bohat nahi dekha around it's alst leg his zyada dekha tha but i used to like it a lot a bit more then Kyunki actually.. Isme as far as i know parvati ka husband also ended up dying or was lost for way too long and she was closest to ehr devar kamal aka ali ashgahr .. that was the sweetest bond on the show tbh and Matlab SOLID SOLID devar bhabhi one of the bests on tv iMo jitna mujhe yaad hai lol the good old times where ali aghar actually used his talent beyond being a crossdresser lol .. anyway yeah it should be fun to watch this again too .. i saw the other day they have the whoel afternoon band with old shows they are playing kumkum , kahin kisi roz, Kyunki all on star plus along with that Saathia 2 from SB on SP

Totally i really like the small smeall things sprinkled alla round like the way Dev cam back and couldn't help but take stand for the family's imaandari.. I esp like the Nature of his defence he was not machaooing shor or tryign to be a hero i liked how understated and to the point it was.. the way he shushed the loser ladkewale and put them in their place 👏. i also liked how all this job offer and all was without at all bragging about main yeh kar sakta hoon woh kar sakta hoon main yeh hoon main woh hoon and he wasn't at all having koi God complex or main sabse bada ya ehsaaan akr raha hoon on vidhi and family in all this.. i also liked how he encouraged vidhi in short and sweet manner about getting her family to understand and how it is important for her to gain confidence to form her identity and then him leaving jsut like actual professionals and classy log will do.. i like that line of respect & tehzeeb between all interactions.. i also liked hwo vidhi or anybody in her family isn't shwon to have considered Dev koli bhagwan instantly ya khawab dekhne start kar diye ke inka matchmake hi akrna hai.. yes her mother mentioned casually after but it was again very in an every day conversational manner ke dev jaisa ladka mile. i esp liekd how apni tareef sunke vidhi hadn't started daydreaming or had gone all moony eyed ya into ghulam zone ke hai meri tareef karke mujhe validation de dia etc.

baaki urhmm vidhi ke papa jhoot ntoh na bolo no woman in our family worls hain?? then what about the whole aprlor thing of chachi?? usi ke liye hi toh vidhi gayi thi? is that not kaam? am not sure if it is a blopper ke kya caz they clearly seem to have the parlor business.

i liked the advice vidhi ki maa gave her too ke forget what anyone said and learn to have self beleieve that is th emost important thing and also the little moment between father and daughter about hisaab and we can see from where she got this good at math quality.

Oh interesting.....I also saw on Hulu, they've uploaded epis of Kahin kisi roz and Kasturi but in thoda ajeeb sa 50 minute long compilations....not sure why they've gone that way and I'm not sure if full epis are uploaded ki thoda summary type kar rahe hain kuch.

Hope KGGK ke full epis upload karein and not some random compilations.

Her character got extra creepily comical today with this kesh nahin baadhungi line😆.....toh I really wondered if makers went for that tone deliberately cuz they sounded like they are giving her lines from the Mahabharat jahaan Draupadi I think had vowed not to baandho her kesh after the whole vastraharan thing.....upar se the contrast of Dev just giving mildly irritated looks after reading the letter ki oh yeh phir shuru hogayi....lol like I can't even tell from his reactions if they had a serious relationship or this Amba got extra chep with him....he doesn't look like he is feeling very moved by her reminding him of their past😆

Word to everything else you said about Dev's scenes with Vidhi's family....I also liked how he didn't show up to do some grand tamasha or score points for the heck of it....they showed his struggle with not being able to walk away from seeing a girl being mistreated so much, isliye waapis jaakar bola after initially being told to get out cuz ghar ka maamla hai.....lol and so softly and politely he said ki sorry but mujhe is baat ka jawaab toh dena hoga....lol.....and yes I was also bracing myself ki overnight worshipping will start of Dev just cuz he defended them and offered Vidhi a job but aisa kuch hua nahin toh that was nice to see.

Vidhi's family is genuinely more consumed with their own problems than finding time to worship Dev filhaal....lol bas woh ring ki wajah se itna socha Dev ke baare mein but now they all seem back to their usual routine.

Re: job....oh I guess Vidhi's dad disapproves of woh chaachi ki job as well but wahaan uska control nahin hai na cuz woh unke saath ghar mein nahin rehte....lol so he tries to enforce this so called "parampara" only on the immediate women in his family. Woh Vidhi going with Chachi for the parlor appointment was a one off thing I guess cuz family emergency maan liya in logon ne use but regular job ke liye nahin allow karega the father.

Haan I liked the little father-daughter moment over hisaab as well....anyways I'm hoping Vidhi accepts the job soon. Ek aur full week na drag karein faltu ke wohi tamashe of Dev ke friends talking shit about her for not accepting the job.

Another moment I liked was Vidhi asserting herself in wanting to wear a simple bindi and not koi bhadkeeli si cuz she doesn't want to project an image of something she isn't.
