Sridevi was pushed into acting at a very young age and had a very controlling mother. After sometime her mother tried to push her to marriage to many single men but did not work out.

Her mother was seriously ill and because of a wrong operation of the doctor fault she was awarded million of dollars.

Post that she had a very turbulent affair with both Jeetendra and Mithun both married at that time. It was her rebellion. In fact she almost got married to Mithun but the wife or someone stopped the wedding.

Apparently Sridevi was so heartbroken and that is why Mona got her in the house and supported her she had an affair with Boney and got pregnant.

That is why Sridevi married Boney as she did not want to have that stigma and Boney married her as Sridevi had a lot of money after her mother's stint.

Both were horrible people and tbh the victim of the whole is Mona who tried to help someone and got backstabbed by both of them

No one is denying that Sridevi had a horrible childhood and the whole thing with her mother was horrible but that is no excuse to have an affair with a married man especially the one's husband you had with who stood by you

Boney Kapoor is a scumbag, there is no doubt about that, but how disgusting of Sridevi to have an affair with her friend's husband & become pregnant , evicting the same friend who had housed her.

Tbh, many people tie rakhi to the guy they date to hide their relationship from 1. Parents , 2. Girlfriend 3. Boyfriend 4. Spouse

Coming to Sridevi marrying Boney Kapoor is an act of desperation. Her mother first kept her away from single men then later tried to fix her match with some eligible men but apparently nothing worked out.

There was a talk about her trying to get married to one of the Amrit Raj brothers but it didn't work out.

Boney Kapoor seems to have taken advantage of her loneliness and desperation.

Didn't she married Mithoon?

Their relationship and its back story made me sick 🤢 No wonder Arjun didn’t share a good equation with Sridevi while she was alive.

Not trying to defend what Boney and Sri did , as it was obviously wrong. But it was wrong regardless if he made her Rakhi sister or not, because he obviously didn’t think of her as his sister. If he ever did, he would never have had affair with her. You can go from being friends to partners but not from sibling to partner.

Boney would have done whatever it takes to get closer to Sridevi. Even if that means inviting her into his home as a rakhi sister to live with his wife and kids. This is the definition of a creep.

Not to put it all entirely on him, but Sri came from a super odd and isolated social setup, she had been acting since the age of 4 and wasn't brought up in the real world, she grew up on film sets and living as different characters non-stop... that takes a huge toll on you... I think she was vulnerable in some ways, but also perhaps manipulative in others. Her insecurity and vulnerability (after her parents' death) drew her to being receptive of rich married men's charms.

I'm not sure in fact if she ever knew her situation was as creepy as it was.
