None of these stars can justify or make 225cr happen..they are all struggling..sirf PR & online bots hain..no one is going to see them in cinemas..khali parein hain..work on your writing..screenplay..direction..and make a good movie..that is what is needed the most..vicky is a good actor..work on the other departments and make a good movie..stop thinking on these lines..look what is happening to BW..and look at those who starred in these 100cr plus losses..charging 50cr and lifetime is struggling to hit 40..they can only further increase the budget..but just to see them people will not flock to cinemas..woh time gaya..wake up!!

ETimes had exclusively reported how Aditya Dhar's dream project 'The Immortal Ashwatthama', starring Vicky Kaushal, got a second life with Jio Studios stepping in after the original producer Ronnie Screwwala backed out. Jio Studios is pumping money to revive the project and had not lowered the humongous budget either, but looks like things are not going as planned.

According to a news portal, the producer and director have had a massive disagreement over the film’s cast. While Aditya is sticking to Vicky Kaushal as the lead, Jio Studios is reportedly not confident that the cast will be able to rake in profits over the huge budget. The makers apparently are content with having Samantha as the leading lady but feel that investing Rs 225 crore on a Vicky Kaushal starrer is a risky plan, reports BollywoodHungama. Since Vicky was associated with ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’ since the beginning, he has already invested a lot of time prepping for the part. It remains to be seen if Aditya will stick to his ‘Uri’ actor or bend to the wishes of his producers. The team will reportedly take the final call over the film’s fate in a month’s time.

After delivering a blockbuster like ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, Vicky Kaushal and Aditya Dhar were all pepped about ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’. The film’s first look poster was unveiled on the second anniversary of ‘Uri’. Sharing the same on Instagram on January 11, 2021, Vicky had penned, “Another one!!! On the 2nd anniversary of URI-The Surgical Strike, the team gives you a glimpse into the world of #TheImmortalAshwatthama. Cannot wait to get onto this journey with the dream team of @adityadharfilms #RonnieScrewvala @rsvpmovies @soniyeah22."
