What I loved about that Teri Ore duet - PD starts off a note, then Arunita does a short Aalaap and shakes her head vigorously while also gesturing with hands to lower i.e. suggestting that the scale is too high - then PD changes and with a slight gesture she acknowledgea it is fine. And then they start! I am sure all musicians do these checks, but the non verbal nature of the communication is key here - the actual event took less time than it takes to read my sentences above!

Also, I agree with what you about what you have said about their demeanour 👍. More than that, I often wonder - will I be able to trust my daughter's friends so much? Am I capable of what Mr. and Mrs. Kanjilal are demonstrating?
